Black Cat Syndicate (BC8) has started reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Coyote Gold operation in Western Australia.

The drilling will aim to upgrade and extend the Speedy vein at Coyote which currently contains a resource of 54,000 ounces of gold grading 7.4 grams per tonne (g/t).

Black Cat will also follow up on intersections outside the resource, including two meters at 49.07 g/t gold from 96 meters, two meters at 28.55 g/t gold from 112 meters and two meters at 16.74 g/t gold from 66 meters. meters.

In addition, stockpile sampling and sampling of unanalyzed historic drill diamond core has commenced.

After the RC drilling is completed, Black Cat will undertake diamond drilling which is expected to begin in July.

“Just a week after the completion of the Coyote acquisition, our first RC drilling has started. Diamond drilling will also begin in July and continue into 2022,” said managing director Gareth Solly.

“The shallow, high-grade Speedy vein has a resource of 54,000 ounces at 7.4 g/t gold which we plan to upgrade and develop. Speedy is a clear example of the value and benefits we see at Coyote. The results of all activities will be published regularly throughout 2022.”

Black Cat ended the day four percent in the red with shares trading at 30 cents.
